Alternative Energy

Baldy Mesa Solar + Storage facility was approved by City Council in 2020 and is currently under construction. It will generate and store 200 Megawatts at AES’s facility on 1,066 acres in the northwest area of the City.

Silver Peak Solar was approved by the City Council in 2022, and its construction is scheduled to begin in 2024. It will generate and store 150 Megawatts on 826 acres in northwest Adelanto.
