Adelanto Hwy 395 Auto Dealership Incentive Program

Description

The City of Adelanto has recently passed a resolution, Resolution No. 23-73, to launch the Adelanto Hwy 395 Auto Dealership Incentive Program (AHADIP). This program is specifically designed to attract investment and support the development of authorized new dealerships, truck, heavy equipment, and RV along the developing Hwy 395 corridor in Adelanto.

Key Highlights of AHADIP:

Aggressive Rebate Structure: Eligible dealerships will receive a substantial rebate of the City’s share of sales tax of up to ninety percent (90%) in the first two years, followed by tiered reductions to eighty percent (80%) in the third year, seventy percent (70%) in the fourth year, and a consistent fifty percent (50%) from the fifth year through the maximum ten-year term.

Minimum Development Size: Eligible auto dealerships must develop a minimum of 200,000 sqft of show space and parking, located along the frontage of Hwy 395 or with clear visibility from Hwy 395.

Time-Limited Opportunity: AHADIP is time-limited and will only be offered to the first few applicants that have opened in Adelanto. The City Council may revoke the program after two dealerships are in operation.
